First turns for 2012-2013 season- October 24th

Just like that, old man winter opened the door and flipped the switch. A solid storm came in on October 23rd and skipped over the southern end of the Wasatch, but absolutely pounded up north at Powder Mountain . We headed up early the next morning to find ourselves submerged in mid winter, over the head conditions. A complete opposite to the days prior on the river!

Surfing pow at Deer Valley- November 21st, 2010

Yesterday Ian and i went for a hike up Deer Valley with the "snurfboards" on our packs. We were pleased to find super deep powder on the "ski only" runs which have yet to open for the winter season. It was an amazing day for November here in Utah.

Pow Mow day. January 29th 2010

Went up to Powder Mountain with ian and CR Johnson for some fun in the sun. Avy danger has been at an all time high here in utah so we have been trying to stick it in bounds as much as possible... It had been about a week since the last storm and Pow Mow still had fresh tracks to offer- Place is sweet, but boy it is low tide out there...
